Compare and Contrasting

The two people I am comparing are Sarah Bishop and Alex rider. Sarah is a girl who lived in the 1700's. Alex Rider is a guy that lived in the now.. almost kind of like the future. I'm comparing these two people because I thought they would have a lot to compare each other too.

For example Alex Rider and Sarah Bishop both had problems with their family. Sarahs parents died, but I'm not sure what happened to her mom. Alex Rider always got into trouble and pretty much had no parents because he was never by them. They do not have parents watching over them, so they can pretty much do whatever they want.

Another similarity that people may not have noticed is that they both don't mind the cold. In Sarahs book, she lived in a cave in the middle of winter. In Alex's book, He could walk around in the cold with no jacket or sweatshirt on as if it didn't bother him one bit. Knowing that about them, they are both probably tough, which is perfect for their character.

Now that I've told you some similarities, It's time I told you a difference. You may notice that they are much alike, but the truth is one is from the 1700's and one is from the 2000's. Sarah lived in a time when you could carry guns at a young age for your defense, when now you can't. No matter what year it is, our personalities haven't changed much.

Who would of thought that we would still be so similar in the future? Back in Sarah's time, they probably expected us to change much more than we have. But the truth is, we haven't changed at all. We're still the same people, but we're not as nice as we used to be.
