Portugal

Location
Portugal is located 38 digrees north and 9 digrees south. Thats the exact location. Portugal is in Southwest Europe and borders Spain to the east and the Atlantic ocean to the west.
Climate
Portugals climate is niether too hot nor too cold. It all depends on the area that you are in and the time of year that you are there. More people come in the spring time because it is nice and sunny, and just about the perfect time to go, But if you go in april it rains a lot.
Natural Rescources
Some of portugals natural rescources are Silver, Gold, Clay, Salt, Zinc, Tin and Copper. Thoes are few of their natural rescources but there are many more where that came from.
Language and Sayings.
In Portugal they mostly speak Portugeese, But about 32% of people in portugal can understand and speak English. Some of their sayings are:
Portugeese: A pressa é inimiga da perfeição.English: Haste makes waste.
Portugees: Alegria de uns, tristeza de outros. English: One man’s happiness is another man’s sadness.
Land Features
In the northeast there are mountains, but there arent many other land features. the rest are mostly just rolling plains.
Transportation-
They get around basically just like us, By car, By train, By bus, and sadly enough, just like us, they drive drunk.

Friends

Friends are the best. They are always there for you when you need them. I used to starve myself because some people I didn’t even know called me fat, but my friends say I'm not. I stopped eating for a long time, and my friends got worried. I managed to stop them from telling anyone for about a year and a half. Then my best friend finally got sick of me being depressed and killing myself so she told the counselor. I may have been mad at her, but she did it for the best, and so she wouldn't lose me. You shouldn’t care about what you look like. Just your health and your friends and family. I have finally learned that. I love my friends.

Mary Poppins

Is Mary Poppins really realistic? I don’t think so. Mary Poppins is very unrealistic. In real life, can you really float with an umbrella? I suppose you could, on a very windy day, but she popped into a picture, that was drawn on the sidewalk! Also, who else randomly breaks out into song in the middle of nowhere? If we had opinions, in my opinion, this story is highly unrealistic!!

Speaking of being unrealistic, it can be realistic too. It’s realistic in some ways. Like how she’s their baby sitter, that’s realistic. The one thing that isn’t is that in her bag, she can fit a coat rack, a plant, a mirror, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she could fit a T.V. in there! She can also clean up things, by just snapping her fingers. The kids can too, but that’s another story.

I think this story is romance, because it is highly unrealistic, and everything that goes along with romance, goes along with this story. There is a minor conflict, and then it is realized, but then resolved. The end! Just like romance. The only other possible thing would be would probably be comedy, because its not realistic. Except nothing in comedy has nothing to do with Mary Poppins.

That also brings us to something that it actually could be comedy. It begins with normal everyday life, but then turns into something about a world we wish we all could live in! So actually it could be comedy, because then the conflict is fully realized. Then the resolution, and then it all returns to normal everyday life at the end of comedy. I think its romance because its like a dream world.

Bringing up the fact of a dream world, it’s a dream world because no one can go into pictures, or bring big things out of a bag that are bigger than the bag! So this is why it brings me to the conclusion of it being romance. It couldn’t be anything else. And it fits romances characteristics perfectly!

Winter

Winter is the best. I like walking around at night in the winter because it is very quiet, and peaceful. When its snowing, and you cant see about 20 feet ahead of you, I like I the best because all you can hear is the sound of snow hitting the ground. I can wait for christmas this year. Now that everyone's getting older christmas isn't such a big deal anymore. The one thing I can't wait for is being able to go to the creek at the park by my house, and slide on the ice. Its really fun. And that’s why I can’t wait for winter.

Haunting.

It was a windy day when the man crossed the road and went into the bus station. It was winter so it got darker faster. Hearing there were murderers creeping around at night, Joshua ignored his mom and went out at late sunset anyway. As Joshua entered the bus station, his body got real cold. He ignored it and went on. Joshua saw a tunnel and thought why not go threw it? He had time. He heard echoing footsteps as he went on through the dark tunnel in the station. As he called out to see if anyone was there, there was an answer.
"GET OUT!" The echo was so loud that he collapsed. It was a soft girls voice, Around the age of 16, he assumed.

Even after the loud and terrifying scream, Joshua went deeper into the tunnel. The deeper he went into the tunnel, the more creeped out he became, and the more he wanted to turn back but couldn't. The closer he got the more he felt as If someone was watching him. Joshua felt as if he'd been walking for miles, even though he'd only been walking for 10 minuites. The air was getting real thick, It became harder for Joshua to breathe. He smelled something familiar. Then it hit him. When he was 13, he almost killed someone in science class with that kind of smell.

Everything that happened next was a blur. Joshua heard something similar to a jail cell slamming shut, then he heard a hissing noise and started to choke. He fell to the floor confused, but then remembered where he thought he was. Then, needles came straight out of nowhere, hitting Joshua. First came one, then two, then seven, then more. Every needle burned. As he picked one up he saw something on it. "Poison" he stated. He could barley catch his breath before the floor started rising up. He thought he was being risen up onto a platform, until he noticed the ceiling was sinking. Then, straps came up from the floor and held him down on his back.

Joshua was so scared now, he started to cry.
"IM ONLY SIXTEEN!" he yelled. "WHY ME, WHAT DID I EVER DO TO ANYONE TO DESERVE THIS!?" Joshua started to cry. "PLEASE, KILL ME OR LET ME GO NOW, DON’T MAKE ME SUFFER ANYMORE! I'LL DO ANYTHING.. ANYTHING ANYONE WANTS IF YOU JUST LET ME LIVE!" Water leaked from the walls. A strap came around and held his neck in place. Two spiked just like the ones on the ceiling came on both sides of his neck. They started to spin, and come closer.

"NO PLEASE!" he screamed. He was 10 feet away from drowning. The floor kept rising, the ceiling kept dropping, the water kept coming closer. All the thoughts went threw his head at once. He'd never get to see his family again, his mom, his dad, or his new born baby sister, but the worst of all was his girlfriend. He loved her so much. He couldn't live knowing he'd never see her again. Just then, two spikes went through his sides.

He tried to scream, but couldn’t. the water was up to his sides, but not yet close to drowning him. It was like god was keeping him alive just to make him feel it all, and suffer. Then, he reached the top of the wall. Needles started to pierce his chest, and stomach. He was still alive though, and he didn’t understand. "why.." he cried. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME, WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU"
"YOU TRIED TO KILLED ME!" screamed a voice from nowhere.
"what?" asked Joshua.

Joshua was so confused. He didn’t know what the girl meant by 'you killed me!'. He'd never killed anyone in his life, and he cant remember anyone close to him that died.
"You killed me..baby" He thought his heart stopped right then.
"E-Emily?!" He asked, shaken.
" Josh you tried to kill me. WHY.. I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME! I LOVED YOU, BUT YOU TRIED TO KILL ME!" She screamed.
"Emily I'm so sorry! I never meant to try to kill you!" Said Joshua.
"Yeah right. First you tried to suffocate me with the gas.. Then you took me into a dark room and stabbed me with a knife.. You knew I loved you, " Said Emily.
"I don’t know why I did that.. Your as pretty as ever even with the blood and scars on your face. I'm sorry…I…..Love….You……...."

Those were Joshua's last words. He slowly died after he said them. His body was found after two days. His parents knew this would happen. Just when they were about to forget that he died so suddenly, there was a note. "I loved him, but he lied, he didn’t love me. So now he's with god, and I will be soon." Everyone knew that it was Emily, his now girlfriend again in heaven, who killed Josh, but after Emily was such a sweet girl, no one could be sure. There were a few people who were certain that it was Emily, but everyone thought they were insane.
"That sweet girl killed him?" they'd all ask in confuison.

At Joshua's funeral, everyone knew Emily and Josh would be on the side, watching together, as his family cried, and his friends were in shock. People all around the world heard about it, and now it is a known lesson, 'If you don’t love someone, don’t say you do.' Now Emily and Josh get to spend eternity together in heaven, because after all of that they realized, they truly do love each other, but they never knew it.

I love to roller skate. Whenever me and my friends hang out at my apartment we always go into my driveway and use them. I never go to skate land. I think it costs too much. That’s why my driveway and friends are just fine. I also like to play volleyball. Its really fun. All you do is hit the ball in the air and don’t let it touch the ground unless it’s the other teams ground. If you hit it out of bounds on the other side then your in trouble. Simple as that.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is really weird. She wears weird clothing. One time I saw her with a hat with all these spikes on it and it was so weird. People say she is a man. Or she was a man then she got something to change genders now she's a girl. In some of her videos she wears too much clothing and in some of them I think she need to wear more because you can see some things that are gross. In her music video telephone she had like no clothes on in the beginning and it was gross and weird if I was on T.V. I wouldn’t want the whole world seeing any of that that’s just gross and sick and wrong. I saw a picture of lady gaga before she became famous and realized she used to be real pretty and now she's someone who you'd never recognize. She's always wearing something different. Kind of like how Katy Perry wore a dress made out of candy. At least I think that was Katy Perry. Oh well. I think some singers are taking after lady gaga because they're becoming more innaproprate and singing some things that sound good but have a really gross meaning when you look them up. All singers are becoming more gross. And more freaky.

Ostriches

Ostriches have big eyes if you didn’t know their eye is as big as their brain. I'm not saying that they're dumb I'm just saying that because it’s a fact. Ostriches are the larges bird in the world. When they are scared they stick their heads into a bush or into anything they can find its just the natural thing that they do. They can run at 45 miles an hour which is twice as fast as a human can. They may be birds but they can’t fly. How humans have to stop when they're running because they get tired an ostrich can run 45 miles an hour really fast for up to half an hour. When they sleep it may look like they're burrying their heads under ground but really they're just sleeping with their neck stretched out.

Patriotism

What is patriotism? Patriotism is love and respect for your country. In some counties if you don’t love and respect your country you could be jailed, and if you don’t know what jailed means, it means to be put in jail, and At worst you could kicked out of your country. Some people don’t respect their country but it’s important because if you didn’t then the world wouldn’t be such a nice place.

Even though the world wouldn’t be such a nice place, litter would probably make it worse. Some people don’t respect their country and just litter everywhere, that’s also against the law. Littering may not seem like a thing as big as that, but listen to spongebob, and don’t litter because that really is breaking the law. Breaking the law could result in very bad things. Well, some of the bad things could be, getting sent to jail, getting a ticket, or other things that could be way worse. Shooting people is kind of a disrespect to your country and kind of not. War isn’t a big disrespect in your country, depending on which one you live in, and considering war is something two countries started together.

Even though war is something two countries started together, War is not considered disrespecting your country, because two countries started it together because they didn’t like something about each other, or it was for territory, and I think the president thinks that’s fine. If this was disrespecting the country I don’t think the president would be allowing everyone, or anyone to do that, if it was disrespect, then I think he would of stopped it by now. Patriotism is still a really big thing in the world, well not really that big, like not as big as it probably was way back then when there was always wars and fights and gun shots like in the old west. It may not be that big, but it is still kind of big.
