Life is hard. Love is worse.

Mika was running. Not to a specific place. Just running. Away from this place, and away from home. She could not take the awful comments and the pain of knowing her girlfriend would never come back to her. If you didn’t guess it already, Mika is a girl too. She's Bi-sexual. For months, ever sense they she and her friend got together and started dating, she didn’t know what love was. Her girlfriend Katie, dressed like a guy, and sounded like one too. People thought she was a guy.

That’s why Mika and Katie were so good together. They started dating on August 19th. They were set up by their two friends, and once they started dating, they trusted their friends not to tell anyone. Then, a week later, school started. 7th grade. Everything was going perfect, Mika and Katie were in love. They were so happy together. Until Mika started having people tell her, "I know you and Katie are dating." and "Oh yeah that’s her, she's gay." she brushed it off.

After a few months of school, they were still together, but the rumors got worse. Someone said that they saw them making out in the bathroom. Someone else said that they had sex. Mika would never go that far. Well, she would, but only for Katie. She loved her so much. Then, one day, Katie stopped talking to Mika. It was now January 27th. Mika was so confused. Katie wouldn’t even tell Mika why she stopped talking to her.

Days went by. Then weeks. Then months. Katie never even broke up with Mika. Why though? Why didn’t she break up with Mika right away instead of waiting? Mika thought she still had hope. By this time it was March 14th. Mika got a phone call from Katie. She was scared. Mika picked up.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Mika.."
"Are you breaking up with me?"
"Yeah, I kind of am"
Mika hung up. She had heard enough. Katie had hit her and abused Mika for those two months that she didn’t talk to Mika. And now, Katie was gone.

Two months went by, and Mika had just about given up hope. She couldn’t take the pain of knowing that her only love was now gone. She ran away. She kept running. Until she got to a place that her and her girlfriend used to go. They called it their spot. She just sat there remembering the good times that they had there together. She walked back home in complete silence. Ignoring the phone calls from her mom. A couple days went by, and Mika was trying to act happy.

Then, she got a phone call. It was Katie. They just sat there, talking on the phone, it was May 11th, and also the happiest day of Mika life. Katie asked if she wanted to get back together with her. Mika said yes. They are now back together. It was May 19th when Katie, for the first time in a while, said I Love You. Today, it is May 20th, they are happily together, and hopefully will be for a long time.

Love

Love is a simple thing. Sometimes its complicated, and sometimes people cry. Sometimes people say that they were never worth it. That’s not true. Your always worth it no matter what. All girls and boys in this world will always mean something, its not like you have no point in this world. That’s not true. Everyone has a purpose, they just need to find it.

Mary's life.

They were coming, But.. Why? Mary thought she had shaken them when she ran threw the woods. Guess not. Ahead of her, she saw her little tree house. She ran straight for it. She climbed up the ladder and collapsed onto the wood floor and shut the entrance panel in a panic behind her. Mary was exhausted. She couldn’t take another step. Hoping that she lost the men, she laid on the floor. When all of a sudden.. *BANG* *BANG* *CRASH*

Mary screamed. As she looked around, she realized she was back in her bed. It was just another night mare. She has been having the weirdest nightmares lately. She was too scared to leave the "house". After all, she was an orphan. What if the police saw her and asked where her parents were? What would she say? She did not want to go live with a "Foster" family. She was too scared. She didn’t want to go live with strangers. She was completely capable of taking care of herself.

Marys parents were killed in a nuclear explosion. Of course, everyone in the whole building died. No one knew that they had a 9 year old daughter named Mary. Nor did they know that she was at school. When she got home that day, on the news, there was a list of names of people that had died in an explosion. "MELODY J TRUMAN; RICHARD S TRUMAN" danced across the screen. She couldn’t believe what she saw. She was devastated. God killed both of her parents. What was she to do?

Now Mary is 15, living off of the apple tree near her, and living in her tree house that she found when she was 7. She drank out of the pond that she lived by. Her location? The woods. She had a job, and a wonderful boyfriend. He didn’t know anything about Mary. All he knew was that he loved her. She was off to work now. Off to see her boyfriend, off to the same old routine, again and again.
