Nothing Lasts Forever.

Authors note: This is a creative piece that I wrote, Explaining whats happened in my life.

Remember when you said you didn't want to hurt me,
When you said you'd never let me go.

Remember when you said you'd always love me,
Well, nothing lasts forever.

It started at the end of summer,
That was when I fell for you.



We were so happy together,
I never wanted it to end.

You showed me what love was,
I never knew it felt that way.

I remember the day you kissed me,
I was shocked anyone would want to.

I thought we could last forever,
I guess that wasn't true.

The months past,
and I knew it was getting closer.

You stopped talking to me,
I was so confused.

You held me over for months,
I was sure there was another.

I was put threw hell for what seemed like forever,
I knew I should of broke up with you.

The only reason I did not,
Is because I thought there was hope.


Yet I always think,
Maybe I could of saved us.


Then one day,
I saw my phone ringing..
I knew it was you.

I knew it was the call,
I knew this was it.

That was it, It was over,
I lost my mind that night.

Then as the morning arose,
I was no where in sight.

Mom worried,
Dad called the cops.

My parents looked everywhere,
I was no where to be found.

I wasn't dead,
Oh no, I was not.

Where I was,
Was a place only I knew.

Only a place,
WE, knew.

I didn't go to cry,
Just to remember,

If it doesn't hurt,
It's not love.
